Layered like a flower, sturdy like a thistle — the carciofo is a symbol of patience, protection, and seasonal rhythm.
Peel it leaf by leaf, and you will find something tender, earthy, and full of flavour — just like its role in Mediterranean kitchens.
Harvested in spring and again in autumn, it reminds us how important it is to eat with the seasons.

At Peracotta, I believe that choosing local and organic produce — rather than vegetables flown in from across the world or grown with heavy pesticides — is a simple but powerful way to care for nature and biodiversity.
This tile panel is a quiet celebration of that idea: shape, colour, and connection to the earth.
